You won't have to explain every detail to me, just tell me what you want! Assisting is hard work, and I take it seriously. Assistant with recent experience in advertising, lifestyle, food+wine, architectural, editorial, corporate, fashion and wedding photography. Location or studio. Well-versed with 35mm film + digital (Nikon, Canon), medium format (Hassie film or digital back, Mamiya, Pentax) and 4x5 (Sinar, Horseman), and strobes (Dynalite, Speedo, Norman, Profoto) and hot lights. Digital experience. Second-shooter experience. Can setup and focus a 4x5. Mixed lighting situations, complex studio or location lighting setups no problem. Good knowledge of SF labs/rental houses and film handling procedures. Lots of references: I'm great with lighting set-up and teardown, location setups, etc. Reliable, on-time, easy to work with and able to follow directions the first time. Available for bookings around the Bay Area and ready for travel. I usually have open availabilty.
